1. Acceptance of Terms

By reserving, paying for, or taking possession of a rental vehicle from Hideout LLC (“we,” “us,” or “Hideout”), the customer (“you,” “the renter,” or “client”) acknowledges having read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by the present Terms & Conditions. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Hideout LLC and govern your use of our rental services.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not proceed with a booking.

2. Rental Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from Hideout LLC, you must:

• Be at least 25 years of age

• Hold a valid and current driver’s license (domestic or international)

• Provide a valid credit or debit card in your name for payment and security deposit

• Agree to undergo an identity and license verification process

3. Booking & Payment Terms

• A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total rental cost is due at the time of booking.

• The remaining 50% balance is due no later than seven (7) days prior to the rental start date.

• Failure to remit payment on time may result in automatic cancellation and forfeiture of deposit.

• A $15/day late payment fee may apply at Hideout’s discretion.

• A security deposit of $500 is required for all bookings. This amount is fully refundable within 7 business days following the return of the vehicle, provided no damage, late return, or policy breach has occurred.

4. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations 30 days or more before the rental start date: Full refund of amounts paid.

• Cancellations made 14 to 29 days prior: 50% refund.

• Cancellations made 7 to 13 days prior: 25% refund.

• Cancellations 6 days or less before the rental: No refund.
  Refunds are not issued for early returns, unused days, or no-shows.

5. Vehicle Pickup and Return

• Pick-up: No earlier than 10:00 AM on the rental start date

• Return: No later than 4:00 PM on the scheduled return date

• Late returns will incur additional fees, up to and including the daily rental rate for each day late.

• Failure to return the vehicle without notice may be deemed unauthorized use or theft, subject to legal action.

6. Fuel and Propane Requirements

Vehicles must be returned with:

• A full tank of fuel

• A full propane tank (where applicable)
  Failure to do so will result in a charge equal to the current fuel price per gallon plus a $40 service fee.

7. Insurance and Liability

• Rental prices do not include insurance coverage.

• Optional coverage is available at the time of booking.

• You are solely responsible for all damage, loss, or liability incurred during the rental period unless covered under a valid insurance policy.

• Hideout LLC disclaims all liability for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings left in the vehicle.

8. Roadside Assistance and Emergency Equipment

All rentals include 24/7 roadside assistance.
Vehicles are equipped with the following safety gear:

• Battery jump starter

• Jumper cables

• Fire extinguisher

• First-aid kit

• Spare tire

9. Pets, Smoking, and Cleanliness

• Pets are permitted in Hideout vehicles. However, a cleaning fee of up to $200 may be charged in cases of excessive pet hair, odors, or damage.

• Smoking is strictly prohibited in all vehicles. A violation will result in cleaning and deodorizing fees.

10. Prohibited Uses

Vehicles may not be used:

• For illegal purposes or unlawful activities

• For towing or transporting unauthorized persons or goods

• For off-roading, racing, or extreme terrain

• Outside the continental United States, unless expressly authorized in writing by Hideout LLC
  Violation of these restrictions may result in immediate termination of the rental and forfeiture of deposit and rental fees.

11. Assumption of Risk

By entering this rental agreement, you acknowledge the inherent risks associated with vehicle travel and voluntarily assume full responsibility for all risks, injuries, or damages that may occur during your use of the vehicle.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hideout LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the rental vehicle, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in San Diego County, California.
